Weekend, where are you? Just stop, stop waiting to come around because I so dearly need you. Between being extremely weighed down in classes and having our business get super busy with the colder weather, I am simply exhausted. That is why I so dearly needed a breath of fresh air at the top of the mountains. So where to? Basin.
My new beau (handsome, did I mention) and I grabbed the dogs, grabbed some every so healthy Costa Vida and headed for the mountains. We arrived just a little after the sun passed the mountains and the cold, crisp air was hitting us harder every minute. But I didn’t care. We were alone, with some good food and some cute pups with the worlds best view and a whole mountain to ourselves. What more could I ask for? This was my peace. My heaven.
We ate, got super fat and played with the fur babies and then enjoyed the view while having our daily conversations about life. The fall colors were vibrant and beautiful and the birds were making their last rounds before heading south for the winter. So we got to see tons of gorgeous blue birds, bright pink and coral trees and a couple little creatures… and bigfoot!!! Just kidding.
Anyway, point is, sometimes when your load becomes huge, you just need a small escape to help you breathe again. I hope you enjoy your weekend as much as I will and have a fun rest of the week!
I had to throw this in here. As I was studying stocks, I turned to see these two cuddled up on top of each other. Liv (the little girl) is my runt Foster baby. Max (the BIG boy) was a foster fail I adopted a couple years ago. He usually plays so tough around the house with all the other creatures but with her, she is his weak spot. It is adorable. This also relaxed me in my studies and made me laugh. Just what I needed. Enjoy!
